As a marketing representative for Damar Security Systems, I speak regularly with our customers and share with them stories that all come from the many years our company has been in business. I often talk specifically about our technicians and the work that they do. Our in-house technicians are industry trained, certified, and know our products well. This allows them to provide service to our customers above and beyond their expectations. Our technicians are a big differentiator from our competitors, who often outsource their installation teams. Since we have been operating for so many years, our technicians have a wealth of knowledge and experience that makes for a better installation of your security system, and an even better customer experience overall.
Our Technicians know our products inside and out.This alone makes it easy for our customers to feel good about placing their trust in us. Product knowledge for the installation of our customers’ security systems is vital to our business’ success. Not only are our technicians knowledgeable about the various products that we offer, but they are also knowledgeable about you – our customers! Being more than familiar with our security equipment means that they understand how to use it. They are able to troubleshoot and recommend solutions in real time, to help our customers with their needs.
The field experience that our techs carry with them is earned daily; it has been built upon the many interactions they have with our customers. Customers receive the benefit of having a plain-speaking technician who is able to meet their needs, without the use of excessive inside jargon. Often times, technicians from other security companies will up-sell unnecessary products to their customers. Sometimes they will even offer additional products that don’t fit a customer’s specific need or application. There was an incident, which was brought to our attention recently through our association with CANASA, where an unchecked independent security alarm installer actually stole a customer’s I.D. and credit cards … right here in Canada! Damar Security Systems obtains criminal records checks on all our technicians, regardless of any formal requirement for us to do so.
